Publications

Information is the most powerful tool that one can use to make knowledgeable decisions and then to share that information with others so that effect is multiplied many times over. Dark Skies has prepared a handout that is a part of package that Custer County gives out to new property owners. We are making it available here in two ways: a PDF (portable document format) file which requires Adobe's PDF Reader (available free by clicking here) and on this plain web page for direct printing. Also we have a flyer that was distributed in the Wet Mountain Tribune newspaper where citizens can indicate their support of Dark Skies goals by completing the form and mailing it to Dark Skies. Lastly, a brochure from the NM Heritage Preservation Alliance that has a very good summary of the problems and solutions along with a copy of the state ordinance.
